Make It Happen Africa:
Who We Are and Where We Are Going!
Have you ever just known that your life was going to be amazing?

Since I was a little girl, I have known that I was going to move to Africa. I lived in Zimbabwe when I
was younger, and my heart never left. The Lord gave me a calling, to teach, to treat, to pray and
most of all to love those that are forgotten. My life has been a learning process, but it was there to
shape me and mold me into the person I am today. My name is Jessi Cloud. I am a nurse, mother,
teacher and friend. I have a son that has the same compassion and the most amazing ability to
understand. I have been blessed beyond measure in my life, and it is time to finally share
what I have been taught.

September of 2006 my son and I moved to Kenya full time. Make It Happen Orphanage now has
it's doors open. While this is a little scary, it is also a fulfillment of a dream, and I pray that the
Lord will multiply the abundant blessings He has given us. I wish for my friends and family to
know that without your support, concern, prayers, and understanding I would have failed many
times, but because of you, and the Lords forgiveness, everything is coming full circle! Just
imagine what amazing things are in store for my family! I know that to some of my friends this
seems like a crazy dream, but I hope you begin to understand that the Lord has His hands on
every one of your lives, and all He needs is for you to give up control and listen. Forgiveness is
given to us as a gift, compassion is placed in our hearts, and love beyond understanding actually
hurts, but wow, what an outstanding way to live.

The Lord is calling His people to create change, some are willing to hear.. That's why
we are here.
