Volunteers and their Stories
There have been, and continue to be, so many people to meet! Many
of our volunteers hear about us from word of mouth and come up for a
visit, others are sent.
All come up and fall in love with the kids and the village, I would like
you to meet them!~

......I came to Kenya as an independent
volunteer with the intention of staying
only 3 months; working and living at a
home for abandoned, single or completely
orphaned children. I soon fell in love with
the country and decided to extend my
stay for another 3 months, as I felt I had so
many fantastic opportunities and
experiences to still discover.
I am now caring for 4 kids who are part of
the Make It Happen Africa program and
also spending 2 days a week at a school
for mentally and physically disabled
children.
I know my experience wouldn't have been
as amazing without the help of my good
friend and mentor Jessi - founder of Make
It Happen Africa.
Please contact me for any questions or
references, I'd love to hear from you.
Good luck with your travels and live your
dream...
