Tsavo West is located on volcanic
hills. The resort is built on stilts so the
animals can move freely around the
part. This is a great location for close
elephant viewing in their natural
habitat. Every part of this resort boasts
an abundance of wildlife, which makes
this stop all the more unique. Tsavo
West is a bit less traveled than some,
but defiantly worth the stop.
Getting there is not to complicated,
catch The Coast Line Bus from Nairobi
to Voi (1000Ksh pp), then call the
resort and they will pick you up. (for a
small fee of 1000Ksh)
Willie is the manager, and he can
take care of anything you need, from
hotel service to booking game drives.  
Prices seem a bit high, but they
include all your meals, and you can't
beat dining with the elephants running
past.
